Singing with Nature: Coqui Frogs of Montaña Soñadora

Have you ever felt the world around you speak through its song? Recently, I had the privilege of experiencing a magical moment in Puerto Rico, where the nights of Montaña Soñadora come alive with the sweet, soothing sounds of the coqui frogs. Their tiny voices fill the air, each note a delicate reminder of the effortless symphony nature plays around us every day.

As I sat beneath the stars, the coquis’ serenade became more than just background noise. It felt like an invitation to join in, to co-create music with the Earth itself. In that moment, harmonizing with their song felt like a deep conversation with nature—a collaboration that transcended words and touched something primal and beautiful.

The coqui’s song is a reminder that when we slow down and listen, the world is always speaking to us. Nature doesn’t just sing—it offers us a space to reflect, heal, and express ourselves. The more we tune into the music of the Earth, the more we can harmonize with it, allowing our voices to resonate with its rhythm.

This experience reminded me of the power that lies within our own voices. Just as the coqui frogs sing their lullabies to the stars, we too can allow our voices to rise in harmony with the world around us. It’s a beautiful dance of listening and being heard, of speaking without words and connecting with something greater.
